Trogir and its Riviera, including the Island Of Čiovo offer a great range of activities, so you are bound to find some you like or you would like to try, maybe even some that you’ve never tried before. The available offer of activities is really a large one. Most of these activities can be also found in Okrug Gornji, very close to the Villa Luna Apartments. Here you can find out more about them.
Parasailing
Close to the Villa Luna you can try out Parasailing. If you’ve however already tried it before and you liked it, you can enjoy it again in Okrug Gornji. For those, who don’t know what Parasailing is, it is a flight above the sea with a parachute attached to a powerboat that guarantees a huge dose of adrenalin to your blood and amazing view on the sea and surrounding landscape to you.
Quad & Buggy safari
On the Island Čiovo and in Žedno you can find special motor vehicles you can rent for a drive through the landscapes and the wilderness of the whole island Čiovo, thus allowing you to fully experience the richness of the nature.
Paintball
If you would like to get rid of the tension inside of you or to experience the war front lines with a group of friends, without the fear of someone getting hurt, the paintball is the right thing for you. You can shoot at your opponents and be sure that you won’t hurt them, but only tag them with a dye! On the island of Ciovo there is a paintball centre in which you can reserve a paintball battle for you and your friends.
Climbing
For climbing and mountain enthusiasts there are the surrounding mountains Kozjak, Mosor and Biokovo, with their diverse natural and historical richness. You can breathe in the fresh mountain air, cleanse your lungs and feel stronger and younger while walking or climbing one of these mountains. You can read more about them here on our site.
Cycling
If you love cycling you can get around the island Čiovo on your own bicycle or you can rent one in some of the sports centres on Čiovo or in Trogir. The braver ones or those feeling more fit can go on cycling tours from Trogir to other Dalmatian towns, perhaps even Dubrovnik. It is possible to cycle throughout the coastal part of Middle Dalmatia.
Fish-Picnic
In Okrug Gornji you can reserve a fish-picnic on a boat for your family or group of friends or even a romantic one for you and your partner and sail away to some of the nearby islands of the Trogir Archipelago.
Kayaking
Have you ever tried kayaking? Do you know what that is? In Okrug Gornji you can find and try out kayaking in the sea. Those, who practice rowing, can rent a kayak for themselves, but you can also try kayaking with a guide, who will take you through the known kayaking routes.
Surfing
Have you ever been surfing? If not, would you like to try the feeling and the adrenalin of mastering the skill of surfing? Are you already an enthusiastic surfer? If answer is yes, in Okrug Gornji there are some ideal locations for surfing. You can also take up a surfing course or just rent a surf board.
Diving
In the Trogir Archipelago and on some other sea locations nearby there are a number of remarkable sites for scuba diving. The most interesting are in the Kornati Archipelago, with an extremely rich sea ecosystem and also the island Zlarin.
